Nordic Weather Network 20. August 2008
New version of Nordic Weather Network developed of Ken True and Henkka. New function with balloon tips which show weatherdata and webcam images. Both I and Martin from Berdal, Norway has helped testing the new script.
Weather Display and multigraph 19. August 2008
Updated Weather Display to version 10.37L build 00. Brian Hamilton (author of WD) has updated the software to handle MySQL 5.2 databases. Grafs (multigraf) from MySQL database is now working, with help from Krister, from Hasslösavädret, Sweden.
Database move 18. August 2008
MySQL database is now moved from wendt-net.dk to gigahost.dk. Total of 1,200,000 records are moved containing weatherdata from 28. December 2005.

Cancel of webhost 11. August 2008
I cancel my webhotel at www.wendt-net.dk and decides moving to www.gigahost.dk At the same time I change the domain to www.silkeborg-vejret.dk/english.
Problems 10. August 2008 at. 21:50
By coincidence I try to connect thru my old webserver at Wendt-net.dk (Snehvide) and to my big supprise I have access. Now the site is running as normal again 10. August 2008 at. 07:40 - weatherdata manually updated Unfortunately the problems continues. I have given my webhost till middag today, otherwise I will have to cancel my webhotel and find another.

To my big dissapointment i can see, that the problems are still not solved and not autmatic weatherdata. I have several times concacted my host www.wendt-net.dk for a status, but unfortunately I havent heard from him since yesterday morning at 9. At this time he expected the problems to be solved during yesterday. This morning I have concated my host again and im right now concidering the situation!

Implemented a new Contact us form written by Ken True. Ken has made the form difficult for spam robots to find and use. The script also contains a list, where banned IP-adresses can be added.
Daily report script April 10 2008
Brian Hamilton (Author of Weather Display) has rewritten the Daily report. Mike Challis helped me to adjust til PHP script to the new version.

Most of my website is now W3 XHTML 1.0 validated. This means (hopefully), that the site can be seen in all common browseres. I have testet with Opera, Firefox and Internet Explorer 7.

Got my videocalendar working in the most common browsers. It was some modifications to the calendarscript, which is made in Javascript.

Installed new version of wxgraphs, created by Stuart from Broadstairs, England. The new version has a file for easy translating for other languages. I helped Stuart by testing the new release.

Wunderground February 18 2008
I helped Jim McCurry, Juneau County Weather by testing a PHP script that presents weather data from Wunderground. The scripts was later developed to present weather data from other weather stations signed up for Wunderground.

DEW POINT
Dew point is the temperature to which air must be cooled for saturation (100% relative humidity) to occur. The dew point is an important measurement used to predict the formation of dew, frost, and fog. If dew point and temperature are close together in the late afternoon when the air begins to turn colder, fog is likely during the night. Dew point is also a good indicator of the air's actual water vapor content, unlike relative humidity, which takes the air's temperature into account. High dew point indicates high vapor content; low dew point indicates low vapor content. In addition a high dew point indicates a better chance of rain and severe thunderstorms. You can even use dew point to predict the minimum overnight temperature. Provided no fronts or other weather pattern changes are expected overnight, the afternoon's dew point gives you an idea of what minimum temperature to expect overnight.
